Looking for a night of well-deserved relaxation? Want to see a movie that you have been on your watch list for too long? The library has some wonderful video streaming platforms to help you treat yourself to those movies that you just have not had the time to see. 

 

Take A Breath

Take some time to clear your mind. Set aside five minutes to check in with your body and mind. Close your eyes and take some deep breaths or follow one of the guided meditations linked here.

Visit the Ask Us Desk 
The Ask Us Service Desk is located on the first floor of the library and provides in-person help by answering questions about the library, campus, or three institutions. This service is available whenever the library is open and loans anatomical items, technology items (such as phone charges and calculators), plus course reserves, or textbooks, for some classes. Please see our homepage or visit the Auraria Library Building Hours for information about when we're open. 

 

Research Consultations 
Research consultations are for in-depth and lengthy discussions about research questions. Please use Schedule a Research Consultation Form to request an appointment. We can help you out in person or via Zoom. Due to the level of preparation needed, appointments should be made 48 hours in advance. If you need immediate help, please use our 24/7 chat service.

Animal Lovers

Looking for a quick fix of something cute, cuddly, and fuzzy? Animal lovers can have some fun with a livestream of kittens at the Almost Home Animal Shelter. They are live day and night, so feel free to click in whenever you need that cute fix. There is also a way to watch the awesome zoo animals from around the world. Here is a live link to a couple of pandas at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. If those options still aren't enough, Explore.org offers dozens of live feeds to choose from.
